Suhagra is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). It is a brand version of the drug sildenafil, which is also used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension and increase exercise capacity in men and women. Suhagra is manufactured by Cipla, a leading pharmaceutical company in India.
How does Suhagra work?
Suhagra works by relaxing the blood vessels in the body and increasing blood flow to the penis. This helps men to get and maintain an erection.
How to take Suhagra?
Suhagra is taken orally, with or without food, 30 minutes to 1 hour before sexual activity. Do not take more than one tablet in a 24-hour period.
Side effects of Suhagra
The most common side effects of Suhagra are headache, flushing, upset stomach, and nasal congestion. These side effects are usually mild and resolve on their own.
Precautions
Before taking Suhagra, tell your doctor if you have or have ever had heart disease, high or low blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, stroke, blood vessel problems, sickle cell anemia, blood problems, liver or kidney disease, bleeding disorders, or blood in the urine.
Interactions
Suhagra can interact with other medications, so be sure to tell your doctor about all the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter medications and herbal supplements. Do not take Suhagra if you are also taking nitrates, such as isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, or nitroglycerin.
